Great Book on Prayer

I have recently been doing a paper for my Biblical Theology class on prayer throughout the Old and New Testaments. One of the best resources that I have used is Graeme Goldsworthy's Prayer and the Knowledge of God: What the Whole Bible Teaches. Goldsworthy gives an overview of the theology of prayer and then traces the prayers of the prophets, priests, and kings along with the teachings of the New Testament. I would highly recommend this book for academic research or just devotional reading.

Title of the blog

The title of this blog came from a quote from George Whitefield. Believers have been given that which they did not deserve. Indeed, they cannot even comprehend it - this is why it is condescending!

Might as well join em...

After concluding that everyone (besides me) has decided to join the blog frezy, I decided that I might as well join the group and offer my opinions. Whether anyone asks for them or not, only time will tell.
